Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Iowa
I had filed for bankrputcy and had all my debts discharged. This discharge was june of 08, however a couple of weeks ago, June '09 the insurance company, after slow walking the claim for nearly a year, sent them a payment on the debt that was discharged adn the hospital is refusing to send the money back to the bankruptcy court as they did not contest the bill being discharged, how can they keep the money for a debt that was discharged a year ago?
