Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Iowa
i was married and divorced him then he went and filed bankrupcy and now im stuck paying the credit card payment that was in both of our names can he pay it he gets navy retirement and social security he make more money in one month than i do in a 6 months i only get ssi and disability and currently separated from the man i married almost 5 years ago can i have some help

You're on the hook for this unless you choose to file bankruptcy yourself. What he makes is not relevant. However, if you choose to do nothing the creditor cannot garnish SSI or disability income. Perhaps you might hire an attorney to point this all out to the bill collectors.
