I am a business in Iowa and will have independent sales reps across the country. Do I need rep agreements for each state or just one from my business state which will go to these reps?

Just the one ought to be sufficient unless what you're proposing has some legal angles in another state. I'd make sure and pay to have an attorney draw up your agreement.
