Legal Question in Business Law in Iowa
Contract changes
I currently have a contract with my in home daycare that is dated through December 2007. The contract states that I have to give two weeks notice to remove my kids or pay the amount. The daycare is making revisions and would like me to sign a new contract. If the revisions do not meet my needs does this make my current contract void? Would I have to pay if I pulled my kids due to the change? Can she change the contract since there is a dated contract between us?

Re: Contract changes
If you sign a new contract and then you decide you don't like the changes, you're likely on the hook for the contract, especially if they told you that changes were coming and you signed anyway. If that's the case, you'll have to pay.
