Legal Question in Business Law in Iowa
Email Agreemant/Order with Minor
My son is 15, he wanted to get some shirts made with a certain logo on them. He found a guy online to order them from and do the artwork. He told my son no money til the design was done and my son was happy with it. The design isnt what my son wants and decided not to get the shirts from him. The guy emailed him and said if he didnt pay him for the artwork that he would sue him and post all over the internet ''beware of my son''. He also says he will come to our town (iowa) and get his money(he lives in indiana). I emailed him and told him not to continue contacting my son in that manner. What do we do?

Re: Email Agreemant/Order with Minor
First of all a minor is incapable of contracting so this person did not have a legal agreement unless you were behind it. You've done all you had to do, it's up to him to sue you.
You could also try paying the guy for the work he did or work out some sort of an agreement.
