employee possessions
how long de we need to keep employee possesions after they have been terminated and didnt take the item with them when they left.

There's no specific time. I suggest you pack them up and send them to your former employee and the problem will be solved. Get a signature. It it's large stuff move it to a storage locker, pay for a month, and send the former employee the key.
