Legal Question in Business Law in Iowa
I was fired for violation of company policy, I own that. I have never been writen up at my job. Others that have violated the same policy are still with the company. I am over 50 yrs old, and have had abuse from one of my superiors prior to my violation of policy. Do I have a legal cause to file a law suit against the company. By the way the company is Walmart

Iowa is a right to work state which means you can be terminated for any reason good reason or no reason at all, unless you have a contract of employment, are covered by a collective bargaining agreement or you believe you were terminated by reason of race, religion, gender, or national origin.
