Legal Question in Business Law in Iowa
as a founder for a non profit group i wish to remove my name from the founders papers. i also know with in this nonprofit group that one of the persons is using the nonprofit for personal gain, which i understand is illegal. need information about removing name and papers to file on said person

If you are one of the incorporators, and the rest of the board agrees you can file an amended articles of incorporation to remove your name from any corporate filings. If another person is misusing the nonprofit form for personal gain it would take an act of the board of directors to put a halt to it. There are no papers you can file on this person.
