Legal Question in Business Law in Iowa
I hit the Iowa Lottery several years ago for a very large amount of money. Once I sent in the winning ticket they never responded and I was never paid the powerball monies. Can I sue the Iowa Lottery? I have written them letters and they have ignored me. I heard on the news that there was a problem with embezzlement withing the Iowa Lottery. I think that is what happened to my missing powerball money. What type of lawyer do I need in order to sue them. I also complained to the Iowa Lottery commission. I never heard back from the Iowa Lottery commission.

This isn't a question anyone can answer on this Q&A. It would require more information like where did you buy the ticket, do you still have a copy of the ticket, did you sign the ticket and is any fraud involved? By the way did you speak with a lawyer within a year of buying the ticket? Lots of questions and very few answers in your Question.
