Legal Question in Business Law in Iowa
Leaving a Corporation
I am one out of three in a corporation. I want to get out and start a new company. I have read my partnership agreement and it says my partners have three years to pay me with 10% right away. I am worried about being cheated out of money I have helped make. What do I need to do to make sure I don't get cheated.

Re: Leaving a Corporation
Your best guarantor of fairness in the process that you contemplate is to hire a good lawyer in your area. If you don't already have one, your local bar association may have a referral service to assist you in finding a lawyer with the right experience.
