Legal Question in Business Law in Iowa
How long does an attonery have to resond? I recieved a cease and desist letter in which we responded with documented facts and 4 weeks later we have no response. Is that normal?

From the facts you present, there probably is no obligation to respond at all. Perhaps it has been dropped, or perhaps they are planning to let a judge decide, since you obviously disagree.

I agree with Thomas. I would only add if you didn't cease and you didn't desist you'll probably be hearing from them again.

What was it they want you to cease and desist from? While I would not suggest you answer that question on this public forum I would suggest you see an attorney to have a private and confidential discussion. I agree with Tom and Bob, but would add the above.
