payment of Club assessment
If you belong to a club and besides dues they are assessing members 3,500. They say you can pay the assessment in 85 dollar monthy installments. If you quit the club in two years are you liable for the rest of the assessment?

That kind of depends on what the terms and conditions you agreed to when you joined say.

Why would you pay such a sum without an ownership interest or a guarantee the club will be open for a certain length of time? I wouldn't.
