Legal Question in Business Law in Iowa
If you set up an LLC, such as "Jones Family Companies, LLC" would each subsidiary company also need to be an LLC? Or. Could each be a d/b/a?

That would be one LLC. You can handle it any way you want, but without more information I couldn't tell you what your liability exposure might be.
