Legal Question in Business Law in Iowa
I am trying to start a business in Iowa. The business would be running poker tournaments for charities to help raise funds. I would own all of the poker equipment and rent the spaces for the charity. Would I be legally able to charge a commission of 10% of money raised or would that be considered wrong under the charitable gaming laws in Iowa? Thanks

Nonprofits are not my thing but it sounds awfully like running a gambling operation. Before you put out any money I suggest you obtain legal counsel that specializes in gaming.
