Legal Question in Business Law in Iowa
I am being sued.
I am being sued at small claims court,I have a counter suit also. Should i counter suit at small claims or File at District court?

If you file a counterclaim in the small claim action that exceeds the jurisdictional amount of that court ($5000 in Iowa) the case will be transferred to the District Court docket. In other words you can have your cake and eat it too.
