Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Iowa
My daughter is being bullied in her dance class. She has been subjected to foul language and mockery. We have invested alot of money and dance recital is in just 7 weeks. We asked the dance instructorr/owner about this, but the girl doing the bullying is her student assistant. She told me (the instructor) that if we didn't like the way it is, then my daughter should leave and she can say or do anything because it is her studio. The owner uses foul language frequently. What does the law say about bullying in private claases and can parents do to see that other students aren't subjected to this. We live in Missouri, but the studio is in Iowa.

The law says nothing about it. I'd hire a lawyer or find another dance studio.
