Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Iowa
I am the defendant. Went to court January 2017. Judge never ruled on case. January 2018 efiling said a redo trial by different judge. I filed motion of dismissal with prejudice reason doctrine of laches. Will I have to still go to court? If so did i just drop my counter suite and not the plaintiff suite?

Unless the court specifically orders the dismissal yes . You must attend all proceedings that you are a party to and are noticed about.
