Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Iowa
Can department of human services deny you food assistance if you refuse to sign a general release? We agreed on an employer statement of earnings and she conviently forgot to send it I refused to sign a general release and she said if I didn't I couldn't get assistance

A general release of what? What is it that you don't want them to know that's so important you'd go without eating?
