Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Iowa
If an employer has an employee that has to do community service outside of their job, does the employer have the legal right to find out where and when their employee is doing their community service?

Good question-I do not think there's a good answer to that. I think that it's best to note that Iowa is a right to work state, which means that a person, unless they have a contract of employment or are covered by a collective bargaining agreement, can be terminated for good reason, any reason, or no reason at all.
