my name was forged to open a court case

My sons father, never married, sighned my name to open a visitation hearing . He said I was the pettioner, I think to get out of paying court costs. He had someone else sighn my name.I am on government aid , so I think that means if I open a case then all the costs go to me or the state . They always name childsupport on the court papers .Can he forge my signiture to say I was requesting this court hearing .Surly this isnt legal.

Forging a signature is a fraud on the court. I'd inform the county attorney and let them deal with the matter.
