Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Iowa
My girlfriend is pregnant and is wanting to keep the baby, she is 17 and currently attends online schooling. Im currently 18 and want to stay with her and help raise this child. We both live in Iowa and her parents are currently pressuring her into an abortion and causing massive emotional stress on her. Her mother currently is trying to restricting my girlfriend from any sort of contact with the outside world(no cell phone, no electronics, etc.) My girlfriend wants to become emancipated, I work a 11.25 an hour job and have enought funds to support her for whatever needs including baby needs and will be able to stay over at my parents house where i currently live.
What can we do legally to make sure my girlfriend is okay and if she can move out at the age of 17.

The answer is nothing. She's a minor, and the child has not been born.
