Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Iowa
Inadvertently walked out of store with item and was ticketed for theft in the 5th degree. Plead not guilty at initial hearing. 4
If place of business can prove that I have taken something before, can I be charged with more than the initial charge

That would be a separate offense, and if you haven't been charged with it it has no bearing on your present situation.
