Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Iowa

Being interviewed by a sherriff for harassment

A girl is blaming me for harassing her by telephone which I have never done. Not even once. Finally 2 years after she started blaming me I get to go talk to the sheriff about this. He says my name was brought up in a harassment case he is investagting.

Is there anything I should know before hand with doing and interview with the sheriff? Certain Rights I have? Can I offer my phone records to prove it wasn't me?

I suggest that you do NOT talk to the sheriff's department. Then hire yourself the best defense lawyer you can get. Anything you say can be used against you.
