Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Iowa
In Iowa I have an active 236 no contact order against landlord/ ex boyfriend, our 3rd in past year. During the 2nd he tranfered by Quit Claim the title to home I have lived in & paid off, to his son,ok, Anyhow is it lawful that the lawyer using sons name as landlord, but all claims were actually initiated by the ex/landlord/dad/manager of the home that I have legal possession of by Court Ordered Temporary Protection in Sec. 236, code of Iowa, to evict me for non payment of rent although I’ve never spoke to son in regards to any issue of my being or renting & the reason I asked is because ex/landlord/dad/manager had stolen my keys & continuously entered without my permission.
& reason for prior 236 is that I learned he had been abusing my dog & he tore up my bedroom & belongings in my home when I was at work. Which seriously terrorized my entire family. And I’d like to report and sue after meeting with a lawyer who is interested in helping me seek justice. He is a millionaire & I am far from it. In fact it is the financial devastation he has been using to harassing & control me and my family ongoing for several years now, threatening to kick us out (every time he didn’t get his way or each time he was looking for an excuse to go cheat.) making me dependant upon & under his demeaning control. Also violating the code of Iowa landlord tenant laws. Domestic abuse laws, civil rights laws & a few more I left out for now, beyond criminal in nature. Causing devastating continuing torture & fear to myself & my young daughter & our family dog. A lot more, to this true tale of injustice because I lack legal representation & cash, however & non the less unlawfully unfair acts of misconduct.
