Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Iowa
Is it legal for me to 'protest'?
Last December I bought a Ford Explorer and a couple days after I bought it it started acting funny. Then the next day it broke down. I had it for maybe a week. I bought it from a used dealership. I want to know if I can go to their store and stand on the side walk with a sign telling people not to buy cars there. Can I do that without them taking me to court or the cops arresting me? I asked if they could at least pay half of the repair bill and they said its too old. That really made my day. So now I want to try to get some money from them buy doing this. Thanks....

The sidewalk's a public place, but you can't expect that these folks would understand or appreciate what you want to do. Legal, probably. Advisable or healthy? That's another story.
