Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Iowa
Recently I was removed from all my leadership at my home Church, because of the fact that I am pro-gay and also due to an issue outside of the Church. Is that legal for them to remove someone for being pro-gay...? Also just a side note, they also had said in the past there is no place for me in the Church because of how I dress (im a guy) so im not sure what they meant by that... I know this is an odd question, im just wondering, it's been a painful ordeal.

It's not really a legal issue but a cultural one I think. A church is a private entity and can pretty much set the rules for membership.
