Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Iowa
My son failed a urine test at his work place.
What is required of his work place after this happens.
He works for a construction company.

Iowa is a right to work state-that means a person can be terminated for any reason, good reason or no reason at all unless they have a contract of employment or are covered by a collective bargaining agreement. If that is the case I'd contact the union rep as soon as possible.
