Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Iowa
I am an unmarried, pregnant woman who works in a private Catholic school. After telling the principal I was pregnant, I am now under grounds for dismissal because of Catholic Morality. Is this discrimination?

Unfortunately you live in Iowa, and that is a right to work state which means that you can be terminated for any reason, good reason, or no reason at all unless you have a contract of employment.
