Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Iowa
at will termination
I was recently terminated without warning at an at-will establishment. I had recently refused ot assist them in falsifying documentation and was fired by someone who was consulted to offer information on improving our company. He stated, ''I tink a woman like you is not a good fit''. The actual administrator never stated I was fired, but did sign a termination form. Was this a wrongful discharge?

Re: at will termination
Unless you had a contract of employment, you can be fired for any reason, good reason or no reason at all.
