Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Iowa
If you are on medicare and medicaid because of disability and cannot afford a supplement insurance
at my age of 56 and you have a will made out that your house was to be sold and split between all
5 chidren can the state come in and take that money away from the children for the money they spent on me while i was alive? Or should I put the house in one of their names now?

Medicare/medicaid has a five year lookback period. If there are any transfers in that time the government gets paid first.
