Legal Question in Construction Law in Iowa
when an employer does background checks for possible employment is there any amount of time that will stop past offenses from becoming grounds for a company not to hire you?

There's no such limit. Generally the feds don't ask about anything over ten years old, but that doesn't mean that some potential employer may look as far back as they care to.
