Legal Question in Construction Law in Iowa
I have a written contract to do 3 roofs.do 1 roof for free in return i get to do the other 2 roofs for $17,389.I did the free roof first,then i did the small roof for $5,389 off of the $17,389 leaving a balance of $12,000.contract states that all 3 jobs must be done back to back.homeowner broke contract agreement and wont answer phone or respond back to me after sending her a letter.its been 6months.can i sue her for remaining balance of contract or just the cost of the free job?

You can file mechanics liens and you'll eventually get paid-at least it'll get their attention.
I'd contact an attorney and get these people sued.
