Legal Question in Consumer Law in Iowa
Do used car dealer ships in Iowa have to do a safety inspection if there was prior damage and the car came from an auction.

If the car is less than 2 years/24,000 miles it could be subject to the Iowa lemon law.

On the other hand if the car was purchased as is-where is (usually the case), there's no recourse except whatever warranty the dealer chose to convey to you when you purchased.
