Legal Question in Consumer Law in Iowa

My dentist office arranged for financing for me to have a dental procedure done. Shortly after, I decided to not have the procedure done. However, the dentist had already received the funds from the financing companies and my monthly payments were due. On July 22, 2009, the dentist office told me to go ahead and make the payments and they would return the money to the finance companies within 30 days. It is now September and the finance companies have verified to me that the dentist office has not tried to contact them at all. I call the dentist office about twice a week asking when this will be taken care of and I'm always told that I will need to speak with the office manager who is never available and never returns my calls. They won't give me a direct number for the office manager either. What can I do?

Contact an attorney and have them contact the dentist's office.
