Legal Question in Consumer Law in Iowa
I had the evaporator core on my 99 plymouth van replaced about a month ago. they had to take the dash apart to get to it. A couple of weeks ago my wife & I were driving & I noticed a crack in the front of the upper dash & back by the speaker. I took it back to the repair shop & they said they would talk to the mechanic he said it was that way when i took it in. I told them there was nothing noted on my invoice when I paid the bill. They said it was noted on their copy which they only keep for 30 days. We bought this van 7years ago when it only had 36,ooo miles on it & the dash was in perfect condition when we took it in for repair. I told them there was nothing noted on my invoice as to damage & they said there should have been, but they said they would not replace it
