Legal Question in Consumer Law in Iowa
Can a gym legally hold you to a whole year membership, even though you signed an agreement, if you wish to cancel it before the year is finished and you have given written notice to them as required by the contract?

Not having the agreement in front of me I couldn't say. However a year's membership is a year's membership.
