Legal Question in Consumer Law in Iowa
I made a purchase on ebay through paypal. My item arrived damaged, and the seller agreed to send me a partial refund. Today i see it was refunded in full and the seller is requesting I repay them. Am I legally obligated to do this since it was their mistake and the refund was processed at their request thru paypal? Normally I would but Im pretty irritated at the damage and this is a further hassle and they made the error not me.

If your agreement was you would accept a certain amount of money back from the seller, that is all you are entitled to receive. Everyone makes mistakes--consider if the situation was reversed. A simple error does not allow you to reform the terms of your agreement.
