Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Iowa

I have an alarm company that I disputed their raising my rate when the original contract says it will never be raised. Ive been with them over 4 years. I'm trying to cancel now and I'm being told that I have 10 months left in a contract they say I renewed in April. Is this legal since I never signed anything or agreed to the renewal?

There is most likely an opt out provision in your service contract. I would suggest you read it again. Perhaps you should assemble all your paperwork and present it to a competent attorney for review.
