Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Iowa

Bank allowed my husband make an equity loan on house

My husband who is now my ex-husband took out an equity loan using the mortgage as collaterial. He took the papers out of the bank and signed my name and returned them back to bank, bank allowed the loan without noterizing my signature. They have a lien on the house, my ex was not even on the deed to the house. Do I have recourse against the bank and can I have the lien removed.

Oh my goodness do you EVER have recourse against the bank, as well as the notary. Unbelievable. I would be happy to discuss this with you.
