What are my rights under the fair credit collections act? I think one of my creditors violated my rights

You have many rights under the Fair Debt Collections Act--too many to list them here. Keep in mind that the Act only covers debt collectors, not the original creditor. You could either look at the Act yourself, or contact an attorney if you believe a debt collector has violated the Act.
