Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Iowa
I just found out that I had been sued by a credit card that won, and it was not my card. I never knew of this until now, and I am not going to pay. Can I take them to court to let it be known that it was not mine, and I dhould not have to pay?

Are you sure it was not just someone else with the same name as you? I would only be concerned if they were trying to garnish your wages or bank accounts. If you are selling or refinancing real estate, and this judgment came up, you will be able to sign an affidavit which states you are not the judgment debtor.
