Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Iowa

A friend of my wife gave her his credit card number to purchase an airline ticket for herself to go as a friend on vacation with him. She then decided not to go as we were reconciling our marriage. He claims now she used it fraudulently and was going to have her arrested. What can we do. we tried to refund the ticket but are unable and were also unable to change the name on the ticket out of my wifes name. The ticket was 1300$. She no longer has the credit card info so we can't call the credit card company.

She charged the ticket and decided not to go. Pay for the ticket or else wait to get sued or have a complaint filed. It's that simple.
