Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Iowa

Judgement

I have a debt which I already agreed to pay. However I would like to pay 25 a month which is what I can afford. The lawyer refused and demands 113.00 I am receiving state assistance for my children and food assistance for my family.

If I dont sign the paper and agree to this ammount the lawyer said he will see me in court. I have every intention of paying as much as I can, I just can't afford what he wants. Is there anything I can do?

Re: Judgement

Ignore him. If you are on assistance, he won't be able to enforce his judgment anyway.

Call me for assistance.
