Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Iowa
Is there a statue of limitations in the state of Iowa in regards to Medical Bill Debt? I have a creditor suing me for a medical bill that I have denied since 2002 its been roughly 7 to 8 years?

That's a pretty fact specific question. The general statute of limitations on a debt such as you describe is five year from the date of the last payment or written admission of debt on an open ended account. If there was a written contract, the statute of limitations is ten years. If there has been a judgment in Iowa the time is 20 years if it is an Iowa court of record and ten years if it is a court not of record.
