im 18 and was caught shoplifting. ive never been in trouble before. ive learned my lesson and is wondering what am i going to get when i go to court

Assuming you are charged with Theft in the fifth degree, you are likely eligible for a deferred judgment which means no conviction but probation. Otherwise the minimum fine is $65 and the maximum jail sentence is 30 days.
