Getting a 5th degree theft ticket off my record
I got charged for 5th degree theft and I don't want this to affect my ability to get a good job. Is it possible to get this off of my record?

You cannot eliminate a charge from your record. There are a small handful of convictions that are capable of expungement, unfortunately theft is not one of them.

I agree with Brother Miler. If, however you've only been charged and not yet adjudicated there is the possibility of a deferred judgment or a dismissal depending on the facts and circumstances.
Have you been convicted? How long ago was it?
