Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
i am a 20 year old iowa resident with a 23 year similar looking brother. i took his old expired id a few weeks ago to get renewed at the dmv. it worked, meaning i now have an actual iowa driver's license with his information on it but my real picture. i'm wondering if i were to get caught and police were to find out it is not my actual information what sort of legal trouble would i be looking at? also would me or him need to worry about renewing our licenses at a later date and getting caught?

You would be in a great amount of trouble for both carrying a false identification and obtaining it under false pretenses.
You've also exposed your brother to a great deal of potential trouble. What were you thinking?
