Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa

I was arrested in Benton county Iowa around mid October 2014 for simple possession of a marijuana joint. I went in front of the magister that day and heard my charges and also corrected my address they had on file. I bonded out for 1000 bucks and was told i would receive paperwork in the mail to direct me to my next court date however I never got it and now I'm told I have a warrant. They told me over the phone that they sent to wrong address. How do I handle this??

I can give you no answer than the obvious one-present yourself at the court and try and get yourself bonded out or ROR'ed, so as not to lose too much time at work. Why? The warrant will not go away by itself, but you might be able to use the issue of mailing mistakes as a talking point.
