Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
I was arrested for failure to appear on a charge that I never knew existed. This failure to appear is from 14 years ago and I never received any notification about the original appearance. How do I handle this?

I would recommend that you appear. You have the right to have an attorney and you would probably benefit from meeting with one to discuss the case.
