Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
can an audio recording, unintentionally made by a minor who did not participate in the conversation from another room, be used against a defendant in criminal court? The recording was taken by the alleged victim from the minor without permission and given to authorities.

Yes. The problem would be in authenticating it.
